What I’m doing now
Updated: Sep 10, 2024
I’m working on an eCommerce product that helps big brands understand what’s going on with their systems and operations (business observability). We are a small, high-performing team.
My role is to craft robust and reliable data ingestion (big data) system, and to help in the establishment of development processes.
The product impact is impressive. We caught a payment service failure that blocked purchases for an hour. During peak sales, even a 5-minute glitch can hurt profits, user experience, and brand reputation.
It’s a fascinating and challenging journey.
Side ventures
Driven by my deep interest for product creation, I launched tikie - deep work environment for high quality work, my own venture.
I’ve acquired my first paying customers. Happy to see the progress, having bootstrapped everything from scratch to user acquisition.
Wearing many hats as a solo maker - from coding to design and marketing - is challenging but educational. This journey is a crash course in business, and I’m loving every minute of it.
